Etsy Fee Calculator 2026 (US): Listing, Transaction and Processing Fees

Enter your item price, shipping and the sales tax on the order. We add up Etsy’s listing, transaction and payment processing fees and show what you keep and your profit.

Runs in your browser: we don’t send or store what you type.

The three fees on every Etsy sale

  • Listing fee: $0.20 for each item you list.
  • Transaction fee: 6.5% of the price you display plus what you charge for shipping and gift wrapping.
  • Payment processing (US bank account): 3% + $0.25, charged on the gross order amount including shipping and tax.

Example: a $30 item with $5 shipping and $2.45 tax

Listing: $0.20. Transaction fee: 6.5% × ($30 + $5) = $2.28. Processing: 3% × $37.45 + $0.25 = $1.37. Total Etsy fees: $3.85. You keep $35 − $3.85 = $31.15 before materials and postage.

Fees the calculator doesn’t include

  • Offsite Ads: if a sale comes from an Etsy ad on another site, Etsy charges 15% (shops under $10,000 a year in sales) or 12% (shops at or above that).
  • Currency conversion: 2.5% of the sale if you list in a currency different from your payment account.
  • Regulatory operating fee: applies in some countries; Etsy lists the rates in its help center.
Tip Fill in your item cost and the postage you pay to see the real profit, not just what Etsy deposits.
